Remember we already talked about the homework: Make a paragraph discribing a friend or relative. Write something about him/her -personality and physical characteristics but here is class you will talk without the paper. Está bien? Pueden hacer diálogos usando todos los adjetivos posibles y verbos Ser y Estar. Ser y Estar son el verbo To Be. Could you prepare your own dialogues using as many adjectives as possible and verbs Estar y Ser, both are verb To Be, in the same sentences. Buen fin de semana! Marta.

Chose the adjective, by form and meaning, that complete the following sentences:

Verb Gustar is a particular verb in Spanish not just in its conjugation but also in the way it is related to the rest of the senctence.
Please review in PUNTOS, pages 16 and 17, the explanations and examples of Gustar and make your own examples in dialogues or sentences.

They could be in the form of a dialogue, paragraphs or a little more complex sentences, such as:

Please take as models one or two patterns of pages 16 and 17 to talk about what you like and dislike:Tomen como modelo algún modelo de Páginas 16 y 17 para hablar de Gustos y preferencias. Read and study at least one model and prepare your own statements. Estudien los modelos y preparen sus propias oraciones. Si tienen problemas, hablamos en clase.
This execise has two objectives: to gain vocabulary and to learn from these patterns to use the correct verb tense for each sentence. See you next week! Marta.

Remember that I will model before you pronunciation and phrases, then by repetition you will say these phrases, sentences and dialogues. After the exercise is explained, rehearsed, and reinforced the time needed, you will let me know if you are ready to prepare your own sentences and dialogues.

Write a paragraph of at least five sentences in which you describe one of your friends. What is he or she like physically? How is he or she in terms of personality? What does he or she do a typical day? What does he or she do for fun?
If you can not do this task, do not worry we will do it in class. If you can easily do it, you may also describe a member of the family, a neighbor, or yourself. (Si no pueden hacer la tarea, no se preocupen la haremos en clase. Si pueden hacerla fácilmente podrían describir también a alguien de su familia, vecino o a ustedes mismos).

1- Describe a place, event or personality of someone you know (friend, relative).
Remember agreement: If you start with female finish the sentence with female . If with masculine, finish with masculine.
Example:
Mi amiga Rosita es linda y buena. Rosita es alta, gordita y rubia.
Or
Mi sobrino es inteligente y estudioso. El es bajo, moreno y delgado.
Prepare at least 3 sentences. If you can not do this exercise, do not worry. I will explain it in class.
If you have time prepare 5, 7,… sentences.
